The Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology that focuses on research and clinical trials in cosmetic dermatology and presents the latest information on treatment techniques, research findings, and clinical trials of skin care products. The journal is extremely reliable and an important source of information for aesthetic dermatology specialists and researchers, as it undergoes a peer-review process (originality of research, validity of methodology, reliability of data, validity of conclusions, etc.) for publication. The article was written by Dr. Ayaka Nishikawa of SBC Medical Group Holdings. This study retrospectively evaluated physician-diagnosed cases of adverse events in 46,250 patients who received BTX-A (botulinum toxin type A) injections into the masseter muscle at SBC Medical Group in 2022. Through this study, we were able to deliver that adverse events caused by botulinum toxin injections have a relatively short time to improvement and are safe.
