SBC Medical Group Holdings Incorporated (Nasdaq: SBC) (“SBC Medical,” or the “Company”), a global owner, operator and provider of management services and products to cosmetic treatment centers, is pleased to announce that its corporate welfare program, “SBC Wellness,” has been adopted by MEDIROM Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Koji Eguchi; hereinafter referred to as “MEDIROM”).

Corporate Wellness Evolving as a Strategic Investment — SBC Medical Group's “SBC Wellness” Adopted by MEDIROM

In recent years, corporate benefits programs have evolved significantly, with an increasing emphasis on wellness and health-oriented management. Employee health is now recognized as a strategic investment—not only enhancing engagement and productivity but also playing a critical role in retention and job satisfaction. Progressive companies are beginning to incorporate advanced wellness offerings such as aesthetic medicine and reproductive healthcare, enabling employees to design their lifestyles with greater flexibility. This shift reflects the growing demand for workplace environments that embrace diverse ways of working.

MEDIROM Healthcare Technologies Inc., known for its concept of "Redefining Wellness", operates over 300 relaxation studios across Japan under the brand Re.Ra.Ku. With a strong track record in promoting preventive healthcare and supporting corporate health initiatives, MEDIROM has decided to implement SBC Wellness as the next phase of its employee support strategy.

Through this partnership, MEDIROM employees will gain access to the following services under the SBC Wellness program:

  • Aesthetic Care Support: Access to skincare and anti-aging treatments at preferential rates

  • Dental Services: Including whitening and orthodontic care

  • Reproductive Health Support: Access to fertility treatments and egg freezing at affiliated SBC clinics

  • VIP Concierge Services: Dedicated consultation and booking assistance via LINE or a private line

SBC Medical Group, which operates a network of 247 clinics worldwide, provides management support not only in aesthetic medicine but also in dentistry, AGA (hair restoration), gynecology, fertility care, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and regenerative medicine. Looking ahead, SBC aims to establish partnerships with 10% of Japan’s top 10,000 corporations and expand its customer base by 1.5 times from the current 4 million users. This expansion aligns with the company's strategy to strengthen its corporate wellness division and contribute to the advancement of health-focused management practices across Japan.

About the SBC Wellness Welfare Program

We provide support to help you maintain a healthy and clean appearance. This program is designed to assist you in achieving your beauty goals by offering personalized advice and recommendations through SBC VIP Concierge services. Our concierge team will listen to your concerns and provide guidance on treatment options, clinic selection, and scheduling via LINE※ or a dedicated VIP hotline. This ensures that even first-time patients can feel confident and comfortable when receiving aesthetic medical treatments. We will handle clinic introductions and appointments on your behalf, as well as schedule adjustments. We will arrange treatments at the most favorable prices based on SBC's various campaign information.

Corporate Comprehensive Consulting

We propose customized welfare plans tailored to the needs of your company to support the improvement of employee satisfaction. For example, support for infertility treatment and egg freezing is adopted by major U.S. companies such as GAFA, helping to provide an environment where employees can work with peace of mind while respecting their life plans. This program is available at SBC's clinic network, “Roppongi Ladies Clinic” and “Kanagawa Ladies Clinic.”

MEDIROM Co., Ltd.

MEDIROM operates a relaxation studio called “Re.Ra.Ku” with the aim of providing health management services. We also offer “specific health guidance” using the health care app “Lav” and body improvement programs. Additionally, in 2020, we entered the device business and developed and sell the “MOTHER Bracelet,” a smart tracker that operates continuously without charging. Furthermore, leveraging the unique feature of 24/7 operation without charging, the company provides a centralized management system using smart trackers as a solution for various businesses such as healthcare, logistics, and developers. Going forward, the company aims to expand its business scope as a comprehensive healthcare company spanning prevention to medical care.
