The Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology is a professional organization dedicated to advancing academic research in the field of aesthetic dermatology and fostering knowledge sharing among physicians and medical professionals. The annual general meeting and academic conference brings together numerous experts from both domestic and international backgrounds to present the latest findings, techniques, and clinical research in aesthetic dermatology. The 43rd Annual Meeting and Academic Conference of the Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology, held over two days from August 16 (Saturday) to 17 (Sunday), 2025, was themed “Give it a try! Learning the science of beauty in Naniwa,” featuring a diverse program covering the latest laser treatments, regenerative medicine, skincare research, and more.
At this conference, six speakers—Dr. Ayaka Nishikawa, Director of Dermatology at Shonan Beauty Group; Dr. Kanako Miyazono; Dr. Soichiro Morikawa; Dr. Hideaki Kikuta; Dr. Joji Matsubara; and Dr. Yuna Yoshikawa—were invited to present based on their past academic presentations and clinical achievements. In their presentations, the speakers demonstrated how aesthetic medicine is evolving beyond mere “cosmetic changes” to offer scientifically grounded lifestyle options, drawing on their extensive experience and expertise. Specific case studies resonated with attendees and were highly praised for their academic significance.
