IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SBC Medical Group Holdings Incorporated (Nasdaq: SBC) ("SBC Medical" or the "Company"), a Medical Services Organization operating a wide range of franchise businesses across diverse medical fields, today announced the opening of "SBC Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Clinic Ichinoe" on Monday, August 3, 2026. The clinic is the first location under a new brand that builds on the community-focused approach long practiced across SBC Medical's orthopedic clinics and strengthens it further, and is situated in a medical mall directly in front of Ichinoe Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo.
As Japan's population continues to age, demand is rising for rehabilitation that helps people recover from age-related decline in motor function and maintain physical performance. Reduced strength and balance in the legs and lower back can lead to falls and a narrowing range of daily activity, making prevention and the maintenance of function as important as treating pain once it appears. With longevity at the core of its strategy, SBC Medical advances initiatives that support people in living healthy lives, in their own way. Orthopedics and rehabilitation is one of the principal fields through which the Company pursues that commitment at the community level.
SBC Medical's orthopedic clinics have long worked closely with the neighborhoods they serve, and the new brand is designed to take that approach further. The Ichinoe clinic brings everyday care closer to the people who live nearby. Located a one-minute walk from Exit A1 of Ichinoe Station and equipped with a comprehensive range of rehabilitation facilities, it addresses common concerns such as stiff shoulders, lower back pain, knee pain and numbness, as well as injuries handled under automobile accident and workers' compensation claims. In addition to consultations with certified orthopedic specialists, physical therapists and judo therapists, a Japanese national qualification for musculoskeletal care, are on site to assess each patient's condition and provide treatment and rehabilitation suited to them. Alongside care covered by Japan's public health insurance, the clinic offers self-pay options including regenerative medicine, giving physicians a broad set of choices to draw on according to symptoms. The clinic is open on Saturdays as well as weekdays, making it easier for patients to continue rehabilitation over time.
Note: Regenerative medicine is self-pay care and is not covered by Japan's public health insurance. Treatment details, costs, and principal risks and side effects are explained by the physician at the time of consultation.
As a comprehensive medical group supporting people in living healthy lives, in their own way, SBC Medical will continue to strengthen community-based care and expand its network across a wide range of medical fields.
