Making skin care an everyday choice in a longevity society, with actor Park Seo-jun appearing in the new TV commercial for the "Yell" medical aging care series

IRVINE, Calif. --SBC Medical Group Holdings Incorporated (Nasdaq: SBC) ("The Company" or "SBC Medical"), a Medical Services Organization (MSO) providing management support across a wide range of healthcare fields, today announced that "Shonan Beauty Dermatology," a dermatology brand with 14 clinics across Japan, will be renamed "SBC Skin Clinic" on September 12, 2026 (Japan time), and repositioned as a brand dedicated to skin care that anyone can turn to, regardless of age or gender. The new name reflects an intention to open up skin care more widely to society as an everyday option rather than something exceptional.

In conjunction with the name change, the brand will renew its clinic logo and website, revise parts of its clinical structure and clinic environments, and introduce a membership program that allows customers to plan their care through monthly contributions. In addition, actor Park Seo-jun will appear in the new TV commercial for "Yell," the medical aging care series offered at SBC Skin Clinic, marking the start of a new communication campaign.

The value of skin in a longevity society
As people live longer, society's focus is shifting from the extension of lifespan alone toward longevity, the idea of aging in one's own way while sustaining quality of life. It is a broader concept that encompasses not only physical and mental well-being but also social connection and self-determination. Against the backdrop of these changing values, the role expected of aesthetic dermatology is also widening. Addressing age-related changes in the skin from a medical perspective is not a matter of bringing appearance closer to a uniform standard, but one of the options available to people who wish to live more comfortably in line with their own condition and values. At the same time, aesthetic dermatology is still often understood narrowly as medicine for changing how one looks. How to reconsider that role and communicate it to society, while respecting diverse ideas of beauty and ways of living, was the starting point for this rebranding.

Background of the rebranding
To convey the role of aesthetic dermatology more widely, SBC focused on how the brand itself communicates that value. "Shonan Beauty Dermatology" has long helped make aesthetic healthcare more familiar to many people. As needs for skin care have broadened across a wider range of customers, it has also become increasingly important to convey intuitively, through the name itself, that this is a clinic that addresses the skin rather than surgical procedures. In the Group's own customer research, the impression created by a clinic's name was found to have a certain influence on how customers feel when they visit. For these reasons, "Shonan Beauty Dermatology" will be renamed "SBC Skin Clinic." The new name expresses the intention to open up skin care to society more widely, as an everyday choice that each person can make for themselves rather than something exceptional.

Park Seo-jun to appear in the new TV commercial for the "Yell" medical aging care series
As one initiative to communicate this thinking, actor Park Seo-jun will appear in the new TV commercial for "Yell," the medical aging care series offered by Shonan Beauty Clinic. The commercial will begin airing nationwide in Japan, excluding some areas, on September 12, 2026 (Japan time). The series is also one of the principal treatment offerings at SBC Skin Clinic. "Yell" is a medical aging care series that responds to age-related skin concerns such as pigmentation, wrinkles and sagging through a range of treatments. Through Park Seo-jun, who is known across generations in South Korea, where skin care is a natural part of daily life, the campaign seeks to convey not a particular standard of beauty, but the idea that skin care is something each person can choose in their own way.
