Promoting international medical exchange to bring Japanese standards of care to Asia amid growing interest in skin-quality treatments

IRVINE, Calif. --SBC Medical Group Holdings Incorporated (Nasdaq: SBC) (“The Company” or “SBC Medical”), a Medical Services Organization (MSO) providing management support across a wide range of healthcare fields, today announced that Dr. Ayaka Nishikawa, Chief Director of Dermatology at Shonan Beauty Clinic, a clinic that receives management support from the Company, led a session for 15 doctors visiting Japan from Indonesia on REJURAN injections, a skin-quality treatment that aims to activate the skin’s regenerative capacity and support rejuvenation.

In recent years, demand for minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments has been growing in aesthetic healthcare, led by aesthetic dermatology. Interest in skin care has expanded considerably, and “skin-quality improvement” is becoming a widespread habit: the skin is gradually brought into better condition through regular maintenance centered on injectable and laser treatments.

With the aim of helping raise medical standards globally, 15 doctors practicing in Indonesia were welcomed for a session on REJURAN injections led by Dr. Nishikawa. REJURAN is an injectable treatment that uses salmon-derived polynucleotides (PN)* to promote the repair of skin cells damaged by aging and UV exposure and to help restore firmness and elasticity. Shonan Beauty Clinic is the only clinic in Japan to have received “DIAMOND” status, the highest tier in the clinic certification program of PharmaResearch, the medical manufacturer that supplies the product, in recognition of its usage (purchase) volume in Japan.

The session provided comprehensive instruction covering not only delicate injection techniques but also communication with customers. Participating doctors from Indonesia expressed high regard for the quality of the medical techniques and the thorough safety standards, and the session became an opportunity for meaningful exchange across borders. SBC Medical will continue to promote medical exchange with doctors in Japan and overseas and to expand its initiatives to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality medical care.

*Polynucleotides (PN): High-molecular-weight components derived from salmon DNA. With a viscous, three-dimensional structure, they are thought to act as a scaffold that supports tissue within the skin, and are used in injectable treatments aimed at improving skin texture and firmness.
Note: REJURAN injections are self-pay care and are not covered by Japan’s public health insurance. Treatment details, standard costs, treatment period and number of sessions, and principal risks and side effects are explained by the physician at the time of consultation.
