IRVINE, Calif. --SBC Medical Group Holdings Incorporated (Nasdaq: SBC) (“The Company” or “SBC Medical”), a Medical Services Organization (MSO) providing management support across a wide range of healthcare fields, today announced that three doctors from Shonan Beauty Clinic and Hada no Aozora Clinic, clinics that receive management support from the Company, presented research findings at the 44th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology, held in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, on August 1 and 2, 2026.
The Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology is an academic society dedicated to advancing research in aesthetic dermatology and to sharing knowledge among doctors and other healthcare professionals. Its annual meeting brings together a large number of specialists to present and discuss the latest findings, techniques, and clinical research.
At the 44th meeting, held under the theme “Beauty and Happiness for Everyone,” Dr. Kanako Misonou, Dr. Teruo Yamauchi, and Dr. Joji Matsubara each presented research findings in their respective fields of expertise. Their topics covered medical body contouring (targeted fat reduction), beard laser hair removal, and injectable treatment for under-eye hollows. In addition to sharing insights gained through daily clinical practice and research, the doctors exchanged views with participants on new treatment approaches and their clinical implications.
Two of the three presentations addressed events that may occur after treatment. They examined the actual clinical course and its contributing factors, with the aim of supporting earlier detection and response. Sharing such cases at academic meetings, not only favorable outcomes, is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the safety of treatment.
As technological innovation continues to accelerate in the field of aesthetic healthcare, the importance of knowledge sharing and academic collaboration, beyond the clinical setting alone, has grown considerably. Meeting the increasingly diverse needs of customers requires not only the adoption of advanced techniques, but also a commitment to accumulating and verifying insights from daily clinical practice and applying them to improve the quality of care. SBC Medical remains committed to advancing cutting-edge initiatives through academic activities and exchanges with research institutions, and to upholding the safety, transparency, and enduring value of healthcare.
